Back in June this year, I was hornored to be interviewed by my dear friend also our co-founder of Chinese Mums in Business Club Sally Maier-Yip. It was such a lovely conversation — full of truth, laughter and inspiration. I am so eager to share it with you.
Before we get down to the link to watch the interview. I thought it is worth sparing some words on Chinese Mums in Business Club which I co-founded with Sally in June 2018.
It is inspired by the ‘Mastermind’ meetings described in the classic book ‘Think and Grow Rich’, our intention is to create an platform and community for Chinese (and culturally Chinese) mums to share their business challenges, ask for guidance and different perspectives and discover new and possible solutions. And most of all, our collective knowledges from different business sectors and mutual coaching will:
- provide us with a wider vision of our current situation
- get us back on track and measure our progress
- inspire us to become a better version of ourselves
- help us dissolve limitations that are holding us back
The Purpose of the Club is four-fold:
- to create a fun, loving and inspirational space to meet like-minded Chinese mothers
- to share our experiences and frustrations and anything in between as a Chinese
- mother and businesswoman in the UK
- to meet old and new friends and deepen friendships, and
- to gain peace and perspectives from our manic daily lives
